We’re a Family
Rodney Cameron and Lucille Cameron established the business many years ago, with their son Michael Cameron now overseeing day-to-day operations. Having multiple employees boasting over 25 years of service, Cameron Construction remains a true family business. Our dedicated team comprises builders, designers, engineers, and project managers, supported by a vast network of trade professionals.

Cameron Construction is renowned for its outstanding financial stability within the industry. Our strong balance sheet is reinforced by the ownership of multiple properties across Melbourne, all achieved without relying on overdrafts or mortgages. This strong financial foundation is a testament to our long history of completing projects on time and to budget.
Extensive Knowledge
We’ve successfully finished over 6035 projects, including 3548 bathroom remodels, 1082 laundry renovations, 2076 staircase installations, and installed more than 48,876 windows and 56,872 doors. Our registration with the VBA is at the highest attainable level, covering both unlimited residential and commercial projects. Active and contributing members of both the MBA and HIA for more than 30 years.
Michael Cameron – Managing Director
Michael Cameron is a Registered Builder in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and has more than 30 years experience in the Building and Construction Industry.
His journey in the building and construction industry began during his teenage years, working extensively in the family construction business during school holidays. Working alongside various trades and craftsmen, Michael attributes much of his foundational knowledge of the building industry to this early experience.
After obtaining his Builders Registration, Michael returned to the family business, eventually rising to the position of Managing Director. He has played a key role in numerous building projects across Australia, encompassing new homes, extensions, renovations, and larger scale multi-unit developments and commercial projects. Today, Michael actively engages with various organizations dedicated to delivering high-quality products to the housing and construction industries.
In addition to his wealth of experience, Michael holds qualifications in both construction and management, including a Masters Degree in Business Administration from RMIT University in Melbourne. He is also a dedicated contributor to the industry, having served as a Councillor of the Master Builders’ Association for six years from 2010 to 2016.
