Old to New Renovation

We all know about the fairy-tale of the Ugly Duckling turning into a beautiful swan; at this residence, we saw the fairy-tale become a reality.

We added an extension of 10 squares to the house and completed full renovation giving the new charm and grace to this century-old Melbourne construction. This is a great example of what our team of home improvement experts can do.

"We are very pleased with the result, our extension blends in with our original home beautifully, we have had many positive comments from our friends and family."

The house was originally constructed in about 1858 by Charles Wingrove, as a two-room, hand-made brick cottage.

The selection of materials was crucial in creating a cohesive relationship between the original cottage and the new one. The two storey attic style cottage has a rendered masonry ground floor and lightweight cladding to the upper floor, similar to the traditional weatherboard farm buildings in the local area.
